Multi - colored Tiles

Who knew that sharpie markers and rubbing alcohol could make such a beautiful work of art! My artists created awesome tiles this week! Colors swirled and mixed creating an abstract design that really popped!

Watercolor Dragonflies

Soft watery colors flow from the brushes of my art students and spill brightly onto a background for a cleverly placed dragonfly!  The young artists created magical habitats for their individually designed winged creatures. Colors were mixed and blended as we learned about watercolor washes and layering. A three dimensional effect was used to represent each student's fantasy world!

Springtime Paintings

Students were bursting with fresh creativity in March! Combining painting with decoupage, my art students created amazing floral pieces with an inspirational message.  We focused on composition, pattern, and color. The final products were awesome!!
